唐僖宗朝主管灵台地理的国师杨筠松（杨救贫），由于历史原因而退隐山林，在江西省赣州市于都（雩都）县、兴国县一带传授徒传艺。杨筠松与其弟子曾文辿、廖瑀、刘江东，创立举世闻名的形势理气并存的赣州风水学派，以阴阳五行为基础，八卦、十二宫、廿四山为用，明确气流、水流切割地磁力线产生风水能量，每五度角切割磁力线产生的能量都有不同的风水吉凶作用。曾文辿、刘江东全是于都人，因此，于都县成了杨筠松风水发源传承地，历经唐、宋、元、明、清、中华民国，至今传承了1100多年。
